Boaz Meirovitch


Boaz Meirovitch 

was born in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1972. He studied at Tel Aviv University (B.A. in Music) and Indiana University (Artist Diploma). He received a M.A. in music from Boston University as a student of Mr. Jaques Zoon, who influenced his personal music style. His career was launched by winning first prize at various music competitions, including the James Pappoutsakis International Competition, Boston MA in 1999.

Boaz plays with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra since 1999. He has performed as a soloist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and a solo recital at Carnegie Hall. 

A renowned teacher, Boaz taught at the Jerusalem Academy of Music, Tel Aviv University, currently teaches at the Tel Aviv Conservatory and at Levinsky College. 

Boaz gives select master classes with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. 

Due to his inspiration and uniqueness of musical interpretation, many former students are currently members of International orchestras and universities.
