Eleonora Lutzky was born in Ukraine and in 1982 she won the first prize in a national Music Colleges violin competition in her homeland. In 1989 she graduated from the St. Petersburg Music Academy and year later immigrated to Israel. She played in the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra as the Assistant Concertmaster until 2004, and during these years she performed with the orchestra as soloist in concerts and recordings. She also serves as the !st violinist of the 21st century ensemble of contemporary music. In 2004 she was invited to join the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and even managed to perform as a soloist. Today Eleonora plays in the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and continues to perform with many chamber ensembles.
